Meet Dr. Steven Baerg, Gig Harbor Endodontist
Dr. Baerg was raised in Gig Harbor, Washington. He attended Bellarmine Preparatory School and Pacific Lutheran University both in Tacoma, Washington. He received his dental training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Following a one year hospital residency program in general dentistry in San Diego, California, Dr. Baerg returned to Boston to complete his endodontic training at Boston University.
Dr. Baerg returned to Tacoma and practiced endodontics in a group endodontic practice for several years. Following this, he opened a solo endodontic practice, Harbor Endodontics, in Gig Harbor, Washington. In addition to full time practice, he is an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, Department of Endodontics and Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is a past President of the Washington State Association of Endodontists and has been a committee member of the American Association of Endodontists. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Washington State Dental Association, Washington State Association of Endodontists, College of Diplomates, and the Pierce County Dental Society. He received the Tufts University Dental Alumni Association Award for Restorative Dentistry in 1996 and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Achievement Award in 1996. He is a founding member of the Northwest Network for Interdisciplinary Dentistry.
Dr. Baerg lives in Gig Harbor with his wife Stephanie and their three children Lindsay, Ryan and Evan. He enjoys spending time with his family and numerous outdoor activities and sports.
